Year 6’s turn at the Dol-y-Moch adventure took place from Thursday 8th to Monday 12th June and they rose to each and every challenge thrown at them superbly. Whether it was kayaking across a lake, to canoeing down a river, to walking through a (very wet) slate mine, to hiking up a forested hill, to hunting crabs in rock pools or even making their own sandwiches (!), the children excelled and overcame any obstacle.
Dol-y-Moch holds a special place in the heart of many an inhabitant of Coventry and now we can add another thirty-two to that list, taking life-long memories and learning experiences away with them. I know Year 5 will already be looking forward to their turn although staff may appreciate a bit of a rest first… To enjoy more photographs and help get a flavour of what they did, have a look at the Friday 16th June newsletter which has a special Plas Dol-y-Moch feature.
