Inclusion
What is Inclusion?
Inclusion is defined as the state of being included or being made a part of something. When multiple people are all invited to be part of a group, or in our case part of Grange Farm Primary School, this is an example of inclusion.
Inclusion is about honouring diversity, not ignoring it. In the classroom, it is about responding to the needs of individual children, ensuring that all children attend and are supported to learn, contribute and participate - regardless of individual need, background or circumstances.
At Grange Farm, all staff are responsible for ensuring the school is an inclusive environment but we also have a dedicated Inclusion Team who work closely to oversee the provision in school. More information about their individual roles can be found below:
