School Uniform
All children are expected to wear the uniform at school. We believe this gives children a sense of shared identify and belonging to the school community. Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring that their child is dressed appropriately for school and that all items of clothing are clearly named.
Our school uniform colours are royal blue and grey:
- Royal blue cardigans or jumpers
- White shirts, blouses or polo shirts
- Grey trousers, shorts, skirts or pinafore dresses
- In warm weather, girls can where summer dresses (e.g. blue gingham fabric)
- Children should all wear sensible plain black school shoes
Jumpers, cardigans and white polo shirts embroidered with the school name can be purchased from Andy Blair Schoolwear on Moseley Avenur in Coundon but these are not essential – non-embroidered royal blue jumpers/cardigans and white polo shirts are absolutely fine.
Children in Reception to Year 4 will need a blue school bookbag which can be purchased from the school office. Children in Year 5 & 6 may bring a small rucksack.
PE Kit
Children come into school in their PE kit on the days they have PE. These will be shared with parents at the beginning of each half term and whilst we endeavour to stick to these sometimes plan can change (especially as we work around varying weather conditions).
For PE days, all children should have:
- A plain white t-shirt
- Black shorts or tracksuit bottoms
- Black jumper/hoodie
- Trainers
If children are attending an after school sports club on a day they do not have PE, they should come to school dressed in their uniform and bring their PE kit with them in a small bag.
