As a school we work hard to maintain a balance between celebrating awareness days and not overloading parents, children and staff with lots of events. Many events fall within the same time frame and therefore it is not possible for us to celebrate them all.
We have decided as a school to implement a two year cycle to try and cover as many of the key awareness days as possible. These may be covered through whole school events, assemblies or PSHE lessons taking part in class.
We will regularly review the events we cover to ensure that we have a good balance and they are meeting the needs of our community.
